An Attitude of Gratitude is not just for Thanksgiving

"One who is not content with what he has will not be content with what he wants to have." - Socrates
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." - William A Ward
"We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures." - Thornton Wilder
"It is impossible to feel grateful and depressed in the same moment." - Naomi Williams

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Having an attitude of gratitude is not just for today.  It is the cornerstone for abundance and happiness.  If your basic emotion is not appreciating what you have, how can the universe give you more?  There is no "pull" from you for more.  We attract that which we pay attention to.  If we are constantly bemoaning what we DON'T have, that what we are paying attention to is lack, that is what we create.  Once you retrain your mind and your thoughts and your actions to be in an attitude of gratitude, you open up the storehouse doors of the universe to begin showering you with more and more.

Your internal source of happiness will also start to strengthen and grow.  If you take just one minute a day to list the things you ARE grateful for, you will be amazed at how quickly that seed of joy that is inside of you will burst forth in full bloom.  And who doesn't want to be around happy, joyful people?

I'm not saying not to go for more or better or whatever your goals are.  I'm saying be grateful for what you have in the Now, while creating and manifesting your goals.  It's easier and more fun to create and manifest being satisfied and happy.

Try it.  What do you have to lose?  Unhappiness and lack?  Is one minute a day too much to spend for the joy and abundance that is waiting for you?

May your tummies be filled with yummies, your hearts be filled with joy and your day be filled with miracles!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Namaste'
